For Preschools and Nurseries

I offer onsite visits for observation and advice, including help to plan intervention and support programmes. These can be useful for a child who doesn't meet the threshold of involvement for outside agencies or where you may like support in gathering and organising your evidence to involve those agencies. They can also be useful where you and a family would like support to look at particular parts of a child's development or may not be sure if the child would benefit from any additional support.

These visits are usually 90 minutes long and often include an opportunity to meet and feed back to families, and talk about ways forward.

I also offer 1:1 support for SENDCos and keyworkers in developing their SENDCo work, their record keeping systems or to better understand the Code of Practice commitments they have.

Please see the Training Available page for the list of trainings I currently offer.

For Preschools and Nurseries I can also offer training for staff on the responsibilities of the SENDCo and an introduction to the Code of Practice/working with children with SEND.
