Intended for early years children, primary aged reception and year 1 children, and for older children who are still working at Foundation Stage level in one or more areas.
I offer a play assessment that is intended to be fun and low stress for children, which gives an insight into their developmental profile in all areas, including their play skills, early learning skills and concepts, visual and auditory processing, memory, movement and physical development, attention skills and their emotional, social and behaviour skills.
The assessment can benchmark a child's developmental stage in each area and identify their next steps, and always includes practical activities and intervention play suggestions to help move them forward. It can also help to evidence a child's strengths and needs to support parents, early years setting or school staff, to measure their progress, and to establish if any other professionals or assessments may be helpful.
