I am available by phone and email for consultations while the lockdown process continues, and will do my best to help.
I am putting in place a policy and risk assessment for visiting schools and nurseries when this becomes possible under the guidance and when an individual school or early years setting feels that they are ready, and this currently looks likely to be able to start from phase 3 on the 4th July under current government plans. As I travel between settings as part of my work, I will be extremely cautious in planning for the safety of the children, staff and families I work with.
I will also hope to be able to reopen for a parent and child to visit me for direct work or assessment from this time.
I will update on these areas as and when the guidance, plus the information regarding the virus in the county, becomes available.
I am able to offer school or family based assessments for school aged children via Skype. This would require a member of staff or parent to be with the child to carry out assessment activities with resources I will email to you and ask you to gather before hand, and would need an open computer link throughout so I would be able to observe and interact with you and the child as I guide you through the assessment. These are available now and would be followed as always by written feedback and suggested activities and interventions for the child's next steps.
I am also able to offer Skype sessions for parents to update Rhythmic Movement programmes for children using these, where I can observe you and your child doing the exercises you have been working on and then model to you some suggested next exercises to try.
I am able to offer my full usual range of training via Skype on either a 1:1 or group basis, and will be glad to plan this with you. I will hope from September to be able to plan with schools and early years settings to once more offer in house training, so that training needs can be met on site for staff safety. I am also very happy to record parent workshops or staff workshops for individual settings, particularly with transition time approaching.
I will plan to be available for assessments, tutoring and support for children throughout the summer holidays this year, so long as the guidance at that time permits.
